Johnny Valentine is Hawai‘i's premier musician and entertainer, renowned for his exceptional vocal range and masterful guitar skills. Over the years, he has graced the stages with music legends such as Bruno Mars, Arnel Pineda (Journey), Regina Belle, Martin Nievera, Henry Kapono, and Kalapana, among many others. A recipient of the Hawaii Music Award and the coveted Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Hawai‘i's Favorite Entertainer of the Year, Johnny's lifelong mission has been to uplift others through the power of high-quality music that resonates deeply with his audience.

One of Hawai‘i's hardest-working musicians, Johnny shares his immense talent across the state, performing regularly at renowned venues such as the Beach Bar at the iconic Moana Surfrider, the Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, the Royal Kona Resort, and more. A highlight of Johnny’s career has been collaborating with the legendary Kalapana and Henry Kapono for unforgettable shows both in Hawai‘i and on tour. These opportunities have allowed Johnny to help share the rich, timeless music of Hawai‘i with audiences around the world. His new band, The Nightbirds, brings a fresh tribute to the beloved sounds of Kalapana and the magical music of the 1970s.

In 2018, he was deeply honored to be recognized at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards as Hawai‘i's Favorite Entertainer of the Year, but Johnny’s passion extends beyond live performance. Alongside his love for entertaining, Johnny is an accomplished producer with 28 CDs to his name. His 2017 release Back in My Day was nominated for a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Contemporary Album of the Year, alongside works from Jack Johnson, Kapena, and other stellar local artists. The following year, his album Cassettes was given the same honor. Additionally, Guitars of Hawaii, a Hawaii Music Award-winning CD, showcases the island's finest guitar talent, including the late great Mackie Feary.

In June 2020, Johnny released Touched by Angels, a heartfelt tribute to the loyal fans who supported him during the pandemic. In 2024, he released the single Nightbird in honor of Kalapana's 50th anniversary, and he is set to release a highly anticipated new album in 2025.
