The Nightbirds are a product of the vibrant 1970s music scene. Garin Poliahu and Zanuck Lindsey, both Nā Hōkū Hanohano and Music Award winners, are proud to have been key members of the iconic group Kalapana for over a decade. Mark Tanouye is known for his work as bassist and keyboardist with Cecilio and Kapono, and Larry Cook, an extraordinary sax and flute player, has performed with a variety of renowned musicians and top local bands.

Fronted by Nā Hōkū Award-winning musician Johnny Valentine, The Nightbirds are dedicated to honoring Hawaii’s musical legends by keeping their timeless songs both alive and relevant.
